1. Information Collected

The Skill collects only the essential data required for its operation, such as:

Monitored user data:

• Internal system ID

• Alexa account ID

• Selected language

• Local time zone

• Answers to check-in questions (“I’m fine”, “I’m not”, etc.)

• Extracted status (positive / attention / help / emergency)

• Interaction logs and event timestamps

Caregiver/responsible person data:

• Name and WhatsApp phone number

• Email for notifications

• Data required to send alerts

Technical data:

• UTC and local timestamps

• Status of attempts (initiated, retry, alert)

• Integration tokens (Voice Monkey and WhatsApp) associated with the account

• No audio is recorded or stored

2. What We Do Not Collect

The system does not collect:

• Voice recordings

• Biometrics

• GPS location

• Detailed medical information

• Health reports

• Personal conversations held with Alexa

• Credit card data

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The data is used to:

• Perform scheduled check-ins

• Store responses and trigger automations

• Send alerts to the caregiver (WhatsApp, email, and voice)

• Ensure the system’s functionality

• Improve detection and reliability mechanisms (e.g., retry logic)

Data is never used for commercial purposes.

4. Data Sharing

Data is not sold.

It is shared only with services essential for system operation:

No data is shared with third parties unrelated to technical processing.

5. Storage and Security

• Data stored in AWS (Amazon Web Services), a certified and encrypted infrastructure

• Restricted access control

• Logs have automatic TTL expiration

• Tokens and credentials are protected with encryption and environment variables

6. Data Retention

• All events have a programmed expiration (30 days or according to current policy)

• User data remains while the Skill is active

• Users may request full deletion at any time

7. User Rights — LGPD

Users may request:

• Confirmation of data existence

• Access to data

• Correction

• Anonymization or deletion

• Portability

• Withdrawal of consent

• General clarifications

8. Use by Elderly or Vulnerable Individuals

We recommend active supervision by caregivers.
The system is support — not a guarantee of safety.

9. International Data Transfer

Because it uses AWS and WhatsApp Cloud API, data may be transferred internationally, always under encrypted protection.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy will be updated whenever necessary.
Continued use of the Skill implies acceptance of the latest version.
